WHO ARE WE?

Established in 2009 by entrepreneurs and business leaders of odia (people from the state of Odisha, India) community of the US and Canada, Kalinga Ventures is a virtual community organization to create more entrepreneurs of odia origin. Odias are successful in many spheres of life including art, literature, science and technology. However, they are typically not associated as entrepreneurs. Kalinga Ventures is a platform where prospective entrepreneurs can experience entrepreneurship at a very early age. Kalinga Ventures adopts an educational and awareness approach to achieve its objective.

MISSION

The mission of Kalinga Ventures is to create awareness about entrepreneurship among individuals of the Odia community and further help individuals attain entrepreneurial success. We envision a future Odia community with a growing number of successful entrepreneurs.

APPROACH

Impart basic entrepreneurial skills to individuals at an early age.
Create a community of Odia entrepreneurs who can help and guide others in attaining entrepreneurial success.

SPONSOR, PEOPLE AND NETWORK

Kalinga Ventures is build and operated by dedicated volunteers. The prize money for business plan is sponsored by Sujay Singh and Dan Mishra. The core committee operates various activities and is guided by the Board of Advisors. The youth committee helps in reaching out to youths of odia community. To facilitate communications from various stakeholders, forums have been created in various social media such as Facebook, and YouTube . All of us are active members of Odisha Society of Americas.
